I am well satisfied with the partnership between St. Bonaventure University, School of Health Professions and Mr. Trey Wright and his staff at Kaye/Bassman International Corp. My charge was to build a brand new school for the University where one did not exist, on budget and an aggressive timeline. I asked KBIC to find us a Founding Director of Occupational Therapy who had the skills and enthusiasm to develop a Masters program first, a Doctoral Program second and a Baccalaureate completion program third. Trey found us a number of well-qualified candidates, many of whom would have filled the role handily. From this pool, we found an ideal fit and I could not be happier. I was pleased with the warm professional contact that I and our search committee had with Trey and his staff. I fully appreciated the time they took to find us candidates to interview, the attention to detail and the opportunity to have a solid choice of qualified candidates. Although we had no prior relationship with Kaye/Bassman, I found the initial conversation with Mr. Wright to be very comfortable, informative, and insightful. He was very detailed about their approach to the recruiting process, and the systematic way that they would approach filling our open position. We also found that they asked the right questions to ensure that we were all on the same page prior to initiating the search.

We had an aggressive timeline to fill an Executive Director position for our startup location in Dallas, TX. The team at Kaye/Bassman helped us meet this timeline and identify semi-finalists, and ultimately our finalist, who met the requirements for the position.

After several years in Graduate Medical Education, I was someone who was professionally satisfied and not concerned about making a career change, particularly one that involved relocation. there was something unique that caught my eye about the DIO/Residency Program Director opportunity at Lexington Medical Center that was sent from Elaine Auerbach [at Kaye/Bassman]. I’d like to thank Eric Dickerson and the KBIC Academic Medicine Team for your assistance in finding the perfect practice situation for me over the last few months! I am a mid-career OBGYN subspecialist surgeon, and I was having trouble finding just-the-right opportunity to combine my specific combination of subspecialty practice and educational focus. For the last couple of years, I have been half-heartedly looking at a few jobs I knew weren’t exactly what I was looking for…maybe for practice, maybe to leverage them to fix my lousy clinical contract at home. It was in a geographically perfect area, the salary was great, and I had this closer — Eric — who always seemed to e-mail, text or call at just the right time to remind me to follow-up, produce required documents, or provide me with info that I needed. The process was incredibly easy, and it seemed like the job and I were destined to be together. From start to finish, it was less than two months! And now, I’m signed and preparing to sell my house. I would have never considered this opportunity or relocating to this city before talking with Elaine Auerbach on the phone. She was genuinely interested in getting to know me–my aspirations, career goals, research interests, and personal and professional history. She asked probing questions that compelled me to articulate my rationale for the career decisions I had made so far.
